Shortly after its establishment, the joint-stock company Kolektory Praha began at the start of 2003 to build its quality management system to meet the norms of ISO 9000.

The management of the firm subscribed to the principles of quality management and made a commitment to ensure both the development and improvement of the firm quality management system. The management viewpoint was formulized to meet the vision of the firm founders and the policy of quality management.

All firm employees, led by a representative of management for quality and a quality manager, were engaged in the process of creating the quality management system.

A team of Research Institute construction certification auditors – from Výzkumného ústavu pozemních staveb, certifikacni spolecnost, s.r.o. – determined at the conclusion of 2003 that the quality management system was in place. The audit demonstrated the fulfilment of all requirements of the CSN EN ISO 9001:2001 norm. Discrepencies were not discovered.

The firm was awarded a Quality Management System certificate according to the requirements of ČSN EN ISO 9001:2001 for the activity titled “Administration, operation, maintenance, situation monitoring, safety and technical development of the collector network and engineering activities in investment construction”.

Specific quality goals are formulated each calender year and the quality management system of the firm will be maintained and improved upon. The certifying authority is to carry out a once-yearly supervisory audit.
