The collector connects the left and right banks of the Vltava. The route runs from the end of the Centre Collector I (pit 40), between Na Bojišti and Kateřinská streets, continues along the east side of Karlovo square and Na Moráni street to Zítkový sadů (pit 64). From here the route continues by underground passage under the Vltava from Palacký bridge. On the Smíchov side the collector runs under Na Bělidle, Nádražní a Plzeňská streets, past the intersection of Plzeňská a Kováků streets to Na Zatlance street. On Karlovo square a branch is to be built to connect the Centre – Smíchov collector with the Vodičkova collector. The overall length of the main route is approximately 2200 metres. The section under the Vltava is to be approximately 460 metres long and the length of the branch to the Vodičkova collector is to be approximately 230 metres long. The route is proposed to be underground and cut into rock base at an average depth of 32 metres. The date of completion is forecast for 2010.
